When I think of Love in Action, I think about how we live out our faith by living the Gospels. Volunteering and serving others are beautiful and important parts of that. But the invitation reaches into everything we do, every day.

God made us for relationship—with Him and with one another. We depend on Him, and we need each other. He calls us to be His hands, His feet, and His heart here on earth. Sometimes that means showing up to help. Other times, it means listening, forgiving, or choosing patience when it would be easier to lose it. Whatever we are doing, we are called to do it with His love.

I am learning this every day. Here, I will share stories and reflections about recognizing the opportunities God puts before each of us to live the Gospels by loving the people in our lives. Let’s help one another respond to Him, one small act of love at a time.
